Approved by Raymond Cullen, Managing Director — next review January 2027
How Cullen Utilities Ltd manages, complies with and continually improves health, safety and welfare across all of its operations.
This statement sets out the way Cullen Utilities Ltd intends to manage, comply with and implement all aspects of health and safety, along with the associated regulations, legislation and client requirements. We recognise the importance of occupational health, safety and welfare in the successful operation of our activities.
We believe it is everyone's responsibility to take part in our occupational health, safety and welfare systems, and to contribute towards our overall objective: the highest standards of accident prevention, while continually improving health and safety for employees and others.
Occupational health, safety and welfare are the responsibility of all employees, and everyone is expected to contribute towards our overall aims and objectives. Our aim is to encourage initiative and adopt best practice in a culture where employees and managers understand their responsibilities and are actively engaged in improving standards and maintaining our management systems. The Managing Director commits to providing all necessary resources, including financial resources, to implement this policy fully, and reviews it periodically to keep it relevant and current with legislation.
This is our health and safety policy statement. It is supported by a full health and safety management system — covering organisation and responsibilities, risk assessment, accident and incident reporting and safe systems of work — which is available on request.
